Leonotis leonurus


I love this picture mostly for the tiny white spiders and green aphids. I generally don't notice insects until I see the picture on my computer, I'm so focused on the flower. The insects are a bonus. Once you spot one here, you will see many of them.



It's a rather bushy shrub, cultivated for its flowers that attract hummingbirds and butterflies. This picture was taken in a public park in Valencia, Spain.
